to swallow mǭ’zõ nīelõ
to devour jarā nīelõ
to swallow like a stake neme taibõ jarā nīelõ
He swallows the meat [whole] with all [its] bones and skin. Ta nīelõb mǭ’zõ vȯzā amād lūd ja nǭ’gõks.
A person is eating, something gets into [his] throat, then he chokes. Rištīng sīeb, tä’mmõn lǟ’b jengkurkõ, si’z ta läkārtõb.
Every animal swats away flies with [its] tail. Jegāikš lūomõz tabārõks kāitsõb kärmiži.
[s/he] is swaying, rocking līngastõb, ǟlõb
[s/he] is rocking, swaying ǟlõb, līngõb
Then he swayed like a boat rocking. Si’z ta ǟliz nemē lǭja ku vǟnkartõs.
The boat is rocking, swaying to one side, to the other side, if you travel on a lateral wave. Lǭja ǟlõb, šlēngõb ī’dõ kilgõ, tuoizõ kilgõ, a’ž sa kīļta laintõ broutšõd.
Our boat is rocking. Mä’ddõn lǭja vänkriz.
Don't swear! Alā van!
He is swearing. Ta vǭnõb.
He is swearing when he says: "Oh, you devil!" Ta vǭnõb siz, ku ta kītõb: „Ah sa kuŗē!”.
He swears when he has to say [that] it is the truth, and he raises three fingers and says [it]. Ta vannõb siz, ku tä’mmõn u’m kītõmõst, se u’m tuo’d, ja nustāb kuolm suormõ i’lzõ ja kītõb.
You go swear that you are doing right and speaking right. Sa lǟ’d zvērõd, kui sa riktig tī’ed ja riktig rõkāndõd.

Wipe your mouth! Pū’st sū pūdõks!
I dusted. [~I wiped off the dust.] Ma pū’stiz põrm jarā.
My feet are swelling, [they] are swelling a bit. Mi’nnõn bõmbõbõd jālgad, rǭžki pāistabõd.
[My] hands are swelling, my face is swollen. Kädūd bõmbõbõd, mi’n palg u’m bõmbõn.
to swell up i’lzõ gobāgõ
to swell up i’lzõ paistõ
[One's] legs are slightly swollen [~are swelling slightly]. Jālgad rǭžki pāistabõd.
The wood is swelling. Pū pāizõb.
The flour is swelling. Jo’ud paizõbõd.
Whatever grows is swelling: a cucumber, potato, when it grows it becomes big. Pāizõb, mis kazāb: guŗkõz, na’ggõrz, ku ta ka’zzõs īeb sūrõks.
The peas are swelling. Jernõd paizõbõd.
a swollen leg i’lzõ stu’lzõn jālga
[One] cheats someone else, [one] cheats another person. Krǭ’põb tūoizta, tūoizta rištīngtõ pietāb.
He swindles the animal away from another person. Ta tšakārtõb tuoizõn jarā lūomõ.
[One] cheats another person, cheats him. Tratsīņțõb tūoizta, pietāb tǟnda.
to swing a rod vitsīņtõb jōtazt
The animal is swinging its tail. Lūomõz eņtš tabārtõ vitsīņtõb.
[One] swings a rod, a whip, [one] chases someone; he is afraid, then he goes. Jōtaztõ, pǭtõgtõ zvidzīņtõd, ajād mingiztõ; tä’mmõn u’m irm, si’z ta lǟ’b.
to swing [one's] feet jaļgi ältõ
to rock a boat la’jjõ ältõ
He is rocking and rocking himself. Ta ǟlõb ja ǟltab ēņtšta.
The waves are rocking [something]. Lāinõd ǟltabõd.
The bird is bobbing [its] tail. Lind ǟltab tabārtõ.
If [one] rocks [one's] foot, then [one] is rocking the devil's child. Ku jalgõ ǟltab, si’z ǟltab kuŗē lapstā.
[You] are rocking him in [your] arms. Kädūd va’isõ vizīņțõd tǟnda.
