What is being cooked in [~on] the pan, is sizzling. Pan pǟl, mis ūdõb, tšūžõb.
to skim off cream i’ļdžemḑi rīžõ
to skim off fat ra’zzõ rīžõ
to hoard money rǭ’dõ ku’bbõ rīžõ
[One] skims milk, [one] skims the cream off the surface when [one] has to skim [it] with a spoon. Semḑi rīžõb, rīžõb i’ļdžēmḑa pǟldõst jarā, ku u’m rīžõmõst kǭjkõks.
[One] removed the skin, then [one] was skinning the animal. Nǭ’gõ võtīz jarā, si’z nīlgiz lūomõztõ.

to kill jarā loptõ
[One] cannot kill another [person]. Kūoltõ tūoizta ä’b või.
[One] can slaughter an animal; [one] kills an animal. Jarā kūoltõ võib lūomõzt; tapāb lūomõzt.
He slaughtered his pig. Ta loptīz eņtš sigā jarā.
When [one] slaughters a pig, it has to be cooled. Ku sigā võtāb jarā, si’z u’m tǟnda jǭ’tõmõst.
to kill, to murder mǭ’zõ tappõ
He kills [it] like a flea: holds [it] under [his] thumb, [it] cannot get away. Ta tapāb ne’iku teijõ: pēgal allõ pidāb, ulzõ ä’b sǭ.

The dog nosed around the animal tracks. Pi’ņ nuțīkšõb pi’ds lūomõ tī’edidi.
[One] sleys, [one] pulls [~puts] the warp through [~into] the reed, then [one] can weave. Kȭidantõb, panāb lāngad kõidõ si’zzõl, si’z võib ku’ddõ.
[One] shreds cabbages finely. Nǭțidi škērõb pīentõks.
[One] who does not have anything else, he cuts with a knife; [one] who has a plane, he planes in a box. Kīen ä’b ūo mūdõ, se duņtšõks škērõb; kīen u’m ēviļ, se kast sizāl škērõb.

You are gliding across the ice. Sa li’bžtõd pi’ds jeijõ.
