The hen is moulting, [its] feather[s] come [~go] off, new feather[s] grow; [it] drops [its] feathers, grows new [ones] again. Kanā plukūb jarā, kǭra lǟ’b jarā, ūž kǭra kazāb; ētab karrõ, kazātõb ūd pǟl tegīž.
[one] is mourning him trūvõb tä’m pierāst
[one] is mourning him trūvõb tä’m tagān
He is mourning his father. Ta trūvõb eņtš i’zzõ.
[It] does not move an ear – [it is] not alive. Mittõ kuorrõ ä’b liktā – ä’b ūo je’lsõ.
He didn't do anything, only moved among others. Ta mittõ midēgõst i’z tī’e, set kīerliz munt siegās.

A baby animal staggers, a baby rabbit that cannot walk, goes [along] hopping whomp-whomp. Vōmpatõb lūomõläpš, kõps läpš, kis äbvõi kǟ’dõ, lǟ’b īekõs vōmpa-vōmpa.
The seals are staggering. Ilgõd vōmpatõbõd.
He is just mucking about; the work he does, is no work at all, it is just mucking about. Ta set pļotskõb; tīedõ ta tī’eb, se ä’b ūo mingi tīe, se u’m set pļotskõmi.

Drones, the bees kill them in the fall. Traņād, nēḑi mie’dlinkizt tapābõd si’gžõ mǭ’z.

Human beings can murmur, speak quietly among themselves, so that [one] cannot understand anything; there can also be some sound, but you cannot exactly understand what they are saying.
