In the fall, [one] grazed the cows in the stubble. Si’gžõ kāitsiz nī’emidi rugā pǟl.
a stubborn person dōŗa rištīng
There has never been a child as wilful as this. [~Such a wilful child has not been seen.] Ne’i doŗŗõ lapstā ä’b ūo nǟ’dõd.
The child has become wilful. Läpš u’m īend dōŗaks.
An obstinate person is one who wants all that he sees and goes after it, or also he does not listen to anything that anyone else says, he has his own sense [~head]. Dōŗapǟ u’m seļļi, kis a’mmõ, midā ta nǟb, siedā ta tǭ’ks, ja ta ajāb siedā, või tegīž ta ä’b pa’n midēgõst kūlõmõks, mis tuoi kītõb, tä’mmõn u’m eņtš pǟ.
The students could not be like that. Skūolsoppijid seļļizt i’z võitõ vȯlda.
to uproot stumps kāndidi murdõ
[One] becomes mad, dazed, tired. Īeb du’llõnõks, ūrmastõnõks, vä’zzõnõks.
