to stay quiet, to be quiet sūdõ pi’ddõ
to close [one's] mouth sūdõ vi’zzõ pānda
with one voice [~from one mouth] ī’dstõ sūstõ
to live hand to mouth pi’vst sūzõ je’llõ
through gossiping, by word of mouth [~from mouth to mouth] sūst sū’zõ
[one] does not even take [it] in [one's] mouth ä’b võtā mittõ sū’zõ
to eat with relish, to eat greedily ma’gḑiz sūkõks sīedõ
in a low voice, softly pūol sūkõks
as if with one voice [~as if from one mouth] ne’iku ī’dstõ sūstõ
[One's] mouth is numb [from bird cherries]. Sū īeb tȭlzaks.
Shut your mouth; hold your tongue! Pidā eņtš sūdõ; pidā eņtš kīeldõ!
[One] is drooling. [~The mouth is running water.] Sū jūokšõb vietā.
[One's] mouth is running [~going] like a mill. Sū lǟ’b ne’iku su’dmaļ.
He is speaking passionately [~so [his] mouth foams]. Ta rõkāndõb, nemē sū vǭ’tõb.
Your mouth is full as if [filled] with porridge. Si’n u’m sū ne’iku sandrokkõ täuž.
Keep [your] mouth open, so a fly gets [~comes] in! Pidā sū vāldiņ, la’z kärmi tulgõ si’zzõl!
Shut [your] mouth! Pa’n sū vi’zzõ!
Keep [your] mouth shut, [otherwise] flies will fly in! Pidā sū vizās, kärmizt līndabõd si’zzõl!
[One's] mouth is shut like [one's] ass. Sū u’m vizās ne’iku pierz.
Don't wear out your mouth, your mouth also wears out! Alā sa ku’ltõ eņtš sū jarā, sū ju ka kulūb!
They spoke as if with one voice. Ne rõkāndizt ne’iku ī’dstõ sūstõ.
Why are you driving [it] out of your mouth! – What a person thinks, not all of it can be said [out loud]. Mis sa ajād eņtš sūstõ ulzõ! – Mis rištīng mõtlõb, siedā ä’b või a’mmõ rõkāndõ.
He spoke in a low voice, [one] could barely understand [him], [one] [could] only hear that [he] is murmuring. Ta rõkāndiz pūol sūkõks, knappõ võiž mȯistõ, kūlõb set, ku bobīkšõb.
She is [said to be] a kind of mouthy woman. Se vȯļļi seļļi sūkõks naizpūoļi.
A good mouth, he is a big talker. Jõvā sū, se u’m sūŗ rõkāndiji.
Whoever is a big talker, a liar, he has a wide mouth. Kis u’m sūŗ rõkāndiji, pietāji, sīen u’m laigā sū.
Whoever talked a lot, [they] said [about him] that [he] has not fallen on [his] mouth. Kis rõkāndiz pǟgiņ, kītiztõ, ä’b ūo sū pǟlõ sa’ddõn.
That is easy for me to say – [that] which is easy to say. Se u’m mi’nnõn sū pie’rrõ – mis u’m kievāmstiz rõkāndõ.
I have a good mouthful, I'm saving it for my children. Mi’nnõn u’m jõvā sūtäuž, ma ārmakstõb siedā eņtš lapst pierāst.
