The drink is diluted, [it] is made weak, water is added, so it becomes weak. Jūomnaigõ lajāstõb, tī’eb lajāks, panāb jū’rõ vietā, ku ta īeb lajāks.
The spirits are diluted with water. Brāndiļtõ lešūb vie’dkõks.
I lead him by the hand. Ma tǟnda jū’ondõb kä’dkõks.
Another person guides you along the correct path. Tuoi sīnda jū’ondõb pi’ds õigizt riekkõ.
I ask who can guide me. Ma pǭlab, kis võib mīnda vadīņțõ.
[He] soils [it] – [his] stomach runs [~goes through] like water, maybe [he] has eaten something. Paskāndõb – ma’g lǟ’b le’bbõ ne’iku ve’iž, agā midāgõst u’m sīend si’zzõl.
[One] dirtied up every place. Paskāndiz amād kūožõd jarā.
He got his son to stop stealing. [~He broke his son of the habit of stealing.] Ta vȭrbtiz eņtš pūoga salāndõmõst jarā.
The calf is weaned. Vāški sǭb jarā vȭrtõd.
to vanish from sight ka’ddõ siļmšti ~ ka’ddõ sīlmad je’dstõ
a lost person ka’ddõn rištīng

Where did he disappear to? Kus ta kadīz?
Oaks have disappeared from our forest. Tǭmõd mä’d mõtsāst at ulzõ ka’ddõnd.
[One] vanished as if swallowed by the earth [~as if underground]. Kadīz ne’i ku mǭn alā.
[One] vanished as if [they had] fallen into water. Kadīz ne’i ku vie’d si’l sa’ddõn.
He disappears so that there is only a wet spot left behind. Ta kadūb jarā ne’i, ku ka’žži kūož īeb set tagān.
That thing has disappeared like lead into ashes (~sand). Se ažā u’m ne’i jarā ka’ddõn ne’i ku svinā tū’gõd (~ jõugõ) si’zzõl.
It still has to be discussed. Siedā ve’l u’m nõ’vtõmõst.
